GerardoLucero Posted January 13, 2018 Report Posted January 13, 2018 Suggestion Name: that game money is charged for each repair with the /fix command. Suggestion Description: My suggestion is that each time the repair command (/fix) is used, the player's game money is subtracted. If you have a truck alone, an amount is subtracted (example: € 1500), if you have a truck and a trailer attached you will be subtracted a larger amount (example: € 5000). Any example images: No. Why should it be added?: It should be added since the truck and the trailer are being repaired as if you were in the truck service. 3 1

FernandoCR [ESP] Posted February 20, 2018 Report Posted February 20, 2018 If I'm not wrong, you can only use the /fix command if you are using a truck with a trailer attached, so "truck alone" wouldn't be a choice. And again if I'm not wrong, the command only fixes the truck, not the trailer. Anyway, charging for the use of the /fix command would be quite pointless IMO, most players have cheated profiles with billions in them. Finally, I haven't used the /fix command so far and I don't intend to use it, so I'm neutral, my vote would be ±0 1
Syntackz Posted February 20, 2018 Report Posted February 20, 2018 I guess your suggestion was made when /fix command was added into mod. many have had issue with that so later some changes added to /fix command.as @FernandoCR [ESP]mentioned /fix command work only when there is Truck + Trailer and it doesn't fix trailer. There is no use of adding of paying money for using /fix command as many already have cheated their profiles or hired more drivers. I see no point adding this presently. But as DEVs already mentioned there will be economy server in future. This suggestion would be great for economy servers.
[MCG] Kien Giang Posted February 21, 2018 Report Posted February 21, 2018 Hello In my opinion: If truck has trailer, when players use /fix command, players will be subtracted about 2000$ If truck don't have trailer (truck alone), when players use /fix commnad, players will not be subtracted
Sticky Posted February 21, 2018 Report Posted February 21, 2018 In-game I have a lot of money because of my company and to be honest, if the command takes a small amount of my money (e.g. 5000$) I wouldn't even notice it. I don't like this idea since beginners have to pay a lot to repair their truck and other players with hired drivers wouldn't even notice it.

Interstate Nomad Posted February 21, 2018 Report Posted February 21, 2018 As I am an advocate for real simulation, I would welcome your suggestion if a serversided economy was established. Conversely, if one does not have enough money to use the /fix command, one's vehicle will not be repaired. And if the vehicle is so badly damaged that it can not be moved under its own power anymore, it could violate in-game rule §2.3 Blocking if it is not teleported to the next repair shop with the F7 command.
NeonLeon Posted February 21, 2018 Report Posted February 21, 2018 Apart of that you can't use /fix with a truck alone, I think it is a very good Suggestion and would take the realistic higher. But as you noticed, the TMP Team said that they will leave it as it is the next time and there is no Project planned on this Point. So for the Suggestion +1 but because there is nothing planned I think it won't be used
_.Queen Rosalie._ Posted February 22, 2018 Report Posted February 22, 2018 This would be great if we had a server side economy, if it’s just slapped in and draws people’s singleplayer account then all that does is penalise the inexperienced and the new who are the ones who are more likely to wreck and require /fix to get back on the road. i mean for me, cause of my company and drivers, even if we were charged £5,000,000 every use, it wouldn’t make much of a dent on my cash, but for someone on a fresh, clean profile, toget near that much would take ages.
El Chileno Posted February 22, 2018 Report Posted February 22, 2018 +1 for this if they remove the cooldown if not, whats the point in taking money? in the meantime i'll stick to autosaves
Guest Posted February 22, 2018 Report Posted February 22, 2018 -1 That would be so bad with new players or with players that have low money. 95/100% its not they fault they get rammed. So adding money will quickly get outrageous as you would work for fixing your truck alone.
