Game issue

odysseus420

Question

Hello everyone, i have a small issue and it's kinda annoying me, it's really unplayable to truck. Each 2secs or less, my game freezes and unfreezes. Yesterday i played with my friend and everything was just fine, working smooth with out any freezes (and yes, yesterday it had a small update 12mb). Today again there was some 12mb update, download it, joined a server and i see my game was freezing, I thought this has to do with the amount of the players are nearby, went on the highway, it had the same issue.

EDIT: I tried playing single player mode, everything was fine.

Here's a little video https://streamable.com/ple9f

Thanks.

Hey! :)

Do you have this issues in SP, too?

If yes: Try to verify your game files!

Steam > Library > Right click on ETS > Properties > Local Files > Verify integrity of game files

Make sure you start TruckersMP always as admin and with DirectX (64)!

Best Regards

There are many reasons for your game to be acting like this, so I am just going to give you the ones I am familiar with and/or have experienced.

  1. Check that your graphics settings are not over powering your PC (for example, your graphics may be on ULTRA when your PC can only handle HIGH).
  2. If you have many Garages/Hired Drivers/Trucks the game will be saving hen ever they do a job so maybe cut down on some of the listed.
  3. Try playing your game in windowed mode (I don't know how this helps but it really does).

I hope that acting on the listed above helps you out!

Regards.

1. Right click ETS 2 in steam

2. Select 'Launch with OpenGL'

3. Let the game run and try going into game.

4. Exit the game and go back to steam, right click ETS 2 again but this time select 'Launch with DirectX (64-Bit)

5. Again go into game and then exit.

6. Start TruckersMP up and see if the stutter is gone.

As I said, SP has no problems. I tried verify the game files, still nothing.

Hello,

Your problem is autosave.

Please download or make new profile and try again.

I don't think so it's the autosave, when i'm on the MP login menu and the normal game menu, i can see my FPS and the game freezes like I've posted on that  video above.

1. I'm playing the game in a low settings. So i don't think so that's the issue since i can run SP with out having this issue.

2. I don't have any hired drivers, i have only one truck.

3. I tried that one too, didn't work.

Tried and none of this stuff works. Specially SP runs fine.

Is your graphic driver up to date?

And did you try to reinstall TMP? (That means: Delete ALL folders of TMP and download the mod again! https://truckersmp.com/download) Maybe an update caused the error! Try to reinstall the updates of TruckersMP (With a completely reinstalling!)

Best Regards

Hey ciyberman,

Please check your Settings in your Tab Menu there you should can

disable some of them.

  • Development Logging -> Disable it
  • Flags -> Disable it
  • Drivers Animation -> Disable it

After you did that, just restart your Game and try it again.

This little Settings should help you to get not more too much freezes.

Hope this Solution helps you a little.

My drivers were updated few weeks ago, even if it wasn't i could've had this problem on the single player mode too and yes, i  reinstalled before i made a thread here. Even, i've re downloaded ETS2 again, still nothing.
