Lobsterfreak12
okay am I just imagining this or what because I thought the winter mod had no effects on your truck. Well I noticed it takes me longer to stop and it is also a lot easier for me to flip my truck over. Again is this all in my head or is there actually something in the mod that I don't know about lol
Guest
It is just in your imagination or you modified the trailer stability in the gameplay setting to make your truck flip quicker. The winter mod neither adds any new physics to the game nor changes the current physics. //Moved from General to ETS2 related Discussion.
Aestrial
Hai there, I think this is just something with you 'dreaming' or a possible issue with the base game. The winter mod being used in multiplayer does not have any changes to physics whatsoever, and thus won't change stopping distances etc.. If there was to be the addition of physics, then increased stopping distances would then be a thing, yes. Batslav
Maybe if it's raining the game accept roads as wet, not sure if this affects the brakes, Just a guess.
Guest
Only the image does not affect the brake , and no physics in snow mode as mentioned above
Tommie59
Maybe you changed the trailer stability or brake intensity? Maybe something did reset them to default?
GoknOz
I don’t think the problem is the mode, chassis and load alignment is very important.
Avro Sisters
Depends what load you got on the back, and what type tyres
Senza_Paura
That would be cool but nope, not anything with the physics. Tastes like RoadKill
sansone23
I think that the mod don't edit the stopping distance, but that it depend from cargo that you have behind; for example if you have an heavier cargo stopping distance increase and if you have soft cargo stop distance is smaller. Syntackz
Well it doesn't change anything much. Present snow mod doesn't have any effect on road but it just gives you the feel that you are driving in snow. firstly its depends on which trailer you are driving like if you have heavy cargo trailer then Scania does great job compared to remaining trucks. Secondly it depends on your brake intensity, if you have kept 100% then it would stop so fast and if you leave it at 0% then it will take time to stop. Matt
The mod is only a environment change - no driving changes. yo
[MCG] Kien Giang
I don’t think the problem is the mode, chassis, wheel, load alignment or truck is the problem.
Ionia
It depends on save configuration. and I hope these features will come in the future.
3Lit3GaM_r
The winter mod uses graphics to make it seem like you break slower but no new physics are included

Guest
The winter mod just replaces some of the textures, it does not change driving physics. Sometimes our brains fool us

TeamDeer
I think the view of snow has lead you to the perception of stopping longer on snow...same with rain. Although I will add it is harder to see when there is lots of rain - despite it looking nice.
