truckersmp.exe doesn't want to work out of the blue

I apologize if this is already buried somewhere with someone having the same problem, but I can't seem to find a fix for it at all.. My Truckersmp.exe randomly decided to not open one day, I reinstalled it and that didn't do anything, I then deleted it and ETS 2, reinstalled both and still the same issue, it just doesn't want to open as if I didn't click it at all. Anyone knows what to do? Wait for a new client update..?

Hello @ivancro96,please follow the below steps.

• Make sure you have selected the correct installation path for the game. ex: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Euro Truck Simulator 2

OR 

Right click TruckersMP Launcher

Properties

Compatibility

Check "Run this program as administrator"
if this doesn't solve your problem then can you post screenshot what error you are getting when you open Truckersmp launcher.

Do you have  MSIAfterburner and Rivatuner open?

 

If not, then go to %programdata%, delete the truckersmp folder and uninstall launcher.  Then restart and install as admin and try again

If ETS 2 is installed in C:/  = Install TMP in C:/

If ETS 2 is installed in D:/  = Install TMP in D:/

... and so on.

 

Make sure you start TMP as admin and with DirectX (64) !

Right..I feel dumb now. Thanks guys, Rivatuner was the problem, it's always on automatic launch so it was always running, didn't even think about it.. Fixed thanks
