"Invalid email or password"

Hello! so i've just created an account with truckersMP and also have downloaded there mod and all is fine! apart from when i try to sign in with my account that works on the website and not on the game. I've tried changing my password but it doesn't work, i've read posts saying that i should change my email to ones such as !Yahoo and hotmail. The thing is.... i have hotmail and it still isn't working. Any solutions would be greatly appreciated!!! Thankss

Welcome!  

Try to copy your EMail + your password! So it's save to have the right password.  

 

Note: Make sure the '@' is in your EMail! -> Copy & paste

Reset your email and password, check if there is no typo, then try again. Or as Smoky said: https://support.truckersmp.com/

Hello @Wonted_Yew,

You need to be on the steam account that you linked with your TruckersMP account. And you have to own the game on the account that you are using, you can not use family sharing.

I see that you own American Truck Simulator on the steam account that you registerd with you profile, so im guessing you are trying to play ETS2 with family sharing.

I do use family sharing but not for this game, i have my TruckerMP account linked to my steam account "Wonted_Yew" and am trying to load the game via my purchased game. When i go to add in my correct details though it says invalid password or email. Also i'm trying to access ATS

-If your login information work for https://truckersmp.com/ but you can`t login ingame you should try one of these fixes:

-First of all make sure you`re logged in with the same Steam account which you were on when you registered at TruckersMP.

-Open notepad or a text editor.
-You need to write 2 rows, on 1st your email, on the 2nd your password.
-Now, copy the email from notepad and paste it in the ingame login screen using keyboard shortcut keys (CTRL+C for copy, CTRL+V for paste Please notice that these shortcuts may be different in your country. If they don`t work, please inform yourself how you can do it on Google).

-Do the same for the password.
-Login.

-If the solution didn`t work, you must have a strange character in the password that can`t be recognized by the login system ingame.
-To bypass this problem, you should change your account password to only latin letters (a to z) and digits (0-9). Please notice that by doing this your password might lack in strength.
-In order to change your password, you must login at https://truckersmp.com/ press Edit Account, insert the new password twice, confirm the old password twice and then press save data.

-I hope that one of these fixes worked and you`re now able to login ingame.

-If the problem is not solved;

nope i've already been asked to use all of these methods and none worked.

@Wonted_Yew once try to login in browser using your details.If you get incorrect email or password then try the below solutions
Solution 1) Delete browser cookies and internet cache.
 
Solution 2) Try going directly to Steam community website (http://steamcommunity.com/), logging in and then trying to log in via TruckersMP website(https://truckersmp.com/).
 
Solution 3) Check that you have correct language selected in the language bar and are typing the characters that you intended to type.
 
Solution 4) Disable any extensions or add-ons that might interfere with Steam login or Steam guard (such as ScriptBlocker).
 
Solution 5) Try logging in with a different, unmodified browser. For example, if you are using Google Chrome, try using Internet Explorer (without add-ons), or Mozilla Firefox.
 
Solution 6) Try logging in via Incognito Mode. 
 
Solution 7) Incorrectly enter your details until captcha appears, refresh the page and try logging in.

If your are still having the same problem then create a ticket for support team at https://support.truckersmp.com/
