Hello

 

I have been using MP fine with ETS 1.28 but upon 1.30 dropping the client will not update, going through the 3-step download process but then still showing current version 1.28.x & I just go in circles. I uninstalled the client but attempted to redownload but it will not extract, showing generic Windows error 0x80004005 & also 7Zip test fails to extract saying data corruption. I have downloaded multiple times, always the same error. Please assist.

Enable the VPN (Download and install any VPN.)

Run the launcher as administrator.

Install available downloads.

Disable VPN.

"Launch ETS2" click on the button.

Hi

 

Yes main version is successfully at 1.30 rocking & rolling.

 

Sitrep: now installed ok & showing ETS supported 1.30.x - but repeatedly going through the "install available updates" process & never changes to "Play" button. Is this due to server load?

Hello

 

Just to say thank you, use of a VPN solved my problem. Never used one before & would have never thought to use one, but now I know & am racing round in my S730 like a mad woman. Or man  Whatever.
