Cannot play Online nor Single.

Well, yesterday i played Multiplayer just having fun, but today when i heard there was an update.
So after i finished downloading etc, I start up multiplayer, i logged in, but after i log in i see just an black screen. nothing happends only music in the background.

and so retried etc, couple of times, and it was saying corrupt saving files? need help asap.

For SP Try verifying game files for MP Try uninstalling & reinstalling the launcher, then use F1 to force updates

Hello there, Akshzyy42,

did you tried to uninstall, MP, Ets2 and clear their remaining files ? from C:/ or D:/ or where you have your game.?

if not please do it should fix it, if not let me know.

There may be more than one reason for this issue.I think the problem may be due to harddisk.If you are using a harddisk with low turn around and read / write speed, you can freeze on the download screens.These cases are more common, especially if they are old.I recommend the SSD for fast loading screens and faster loading of cast items.

- Verify your game files on Steam also update your video card driver.

- Try open a new profile.

- Close all your mods and try again.

Due to you saying that you have corrupt files, I will give you a few steps that you can take and hopefully this will help. Now, correct me if I am wrong but you have stated that this is also causing problems on Single Player so I am not going to direct all of my suggestions for a solution on the Truckers MP Launcher.

 

1. Run the game/launcher as an Administrator
2. Verify the game cache files of ETS 2/ATS
   1. Steam Library > right click Euro Truck Simulator 2 > Properties > Local Files > Verify Integrity of Game Cache Files
3. Re-install both the game and the launcher (please make sure this is the last step you take)

 

Hopefully this will help you out and best of luck on finding the solutions!
