Cant play ATSMP

Whenever I start ATS MP, all I get is a black screen for the startup until it loads the character select screen. Then it just gets stuck there. I don't even get the login screen like I do on ETS2MP. It's like ATS is trying to start single player instead of multiplayer. Anyone know how to fix this?

Similar problems to yours have been reported before, you can have a read and see whether they apply to you.

This could be many different problems, if you could answer these questions it would give you a better outcome in answers.

 

• Is your graphics settings any different to ETS2?
• Have you tired running as an Administrator?
• Has this only been happening recently?
• Is it only on Multiplayer that this occurs?

My solutions for you:

 

1. If you can get on the game in single player, lower your graphics settings.
2. Attempt to run the game/launcher as an Administrator.
3. Reinstall Truckers MP.
4. Verify the integrity of your American Truck Sim cache.

Close the game and start single player with DirectX then run multiplayer.

Do you launch the MP as admin?

Did you try to restart your computer?

Did you try to reinstall the MP?
