it is one of our dreams - to retouch the oldest terrains of ETS2 map. 
As we wrote in the news, the good start of ATS, allowed us to expand the number of hired map makers, and then to handle the decision of changing ATS map scale to ETS2 scale. 
Unfortunately our map makers teams are not yet big and strong enough to handle preparing another paid map expansions = source of incomes for company, with the rebuilding the oldest parts of map. 
If current and future dlc's will be selling nicely, hopefully one day, we will be able to set aside the dedicated team to improve the oldest part of map.

Time will show, how it will be;)
