Yes, in most cases. Adjusting at 100% is safer!

my brakes are in 70% since I like to simulate to the maximum is not to ride in high speed, but to really adjust in 100% and safe mainly for skoda

If some drive recklessly, speeding everywhere and everytime, yes you need it. I don't use it because it's unrealistic and I've never had the need to use it.

i find it helps alot , i also have the trailer up to 100% it aint too much its just right tbh but we all drive different

I did not like how my truck stops when it was on default 50%.
It feels unnatural also sudden stop can cause more problems, than weak brakes. Slower stopping gives reaction time to the people behind.
My brakes are set to the lowest possible, you can always activate the retarder if you need to stop faster.

If I drive the car, I put the brakes on 100%, if I then switch back to my truck and try to drive. It annoys me, so the breaking goes back to 45%.
Although I speed with the truck, I always try to look ahead, what is going on. And I never had issues that I could not stop on time, for something that happened.

Couldn't agree more.  Between engine braking and downshifting, the trailer brakes, main tractor brakes, and (if applicable) the retarder, there is no need to have your braking intensity at 100%.  Even during those rare moments when I decide to do 150+ kph around the map, I've never had a problem with stopping my vehicle with the default brake settings.

I feel like having brake intensity at full will end with me brake checking everyone. However, it does prevent you hitting anyone else. Mines on about 40% in trucks, it gets turned up for the scout car.

I have it around 60% intensity.

Allows a smooth break.

If I set it to 100%, it will be too strong in my opinion.

For those who drive above 100km/h, then they will need stronger brakes to avoid a disaster!

Will cause other players to rear end you as they don't know your braking so fast. However there should be at least a 4 second gap between the vehicle in front
