Popular Post KacaKTV Posted November 15, 2017 Popular Post Report Posted November 15, 2017 Suggestion Name: ADVANCED GHOST MODE Suggestion Description: The ghost mode system is so good but it's impossible to notice that from far away. It's really hard to see someone spawned on the road. If someone just joined the game and if he's in ghost mode, there should be a mark next to his nickname that tells he's in ghostmode and it can last for some seconds. It might be same for the player who joins the game, he should see how many seconds left on his screen till ghost mode ends. Any example images: 20 Secs Left 19 Secs Left Why should it be added?: To be more understandable Thanks for reading. Best Regards, KacaKTV 23 2 51 1 2

slushbro Posted November 18, 2017 Report Posted November 18, 2017 Would it be not easier if the player who is in ghost mode is transparent to other players and only the name, the counter and the outline?
MaffewE Posted November 18, 2017 Report Posted November 18, 2017 Good suggestion, deefinately think it needs to be clearer a user has joined the game. Many a time I’ve swerved and went through the player and realised they were in ghost mode! A flickering name or a specific colour in a specific font or anything to make it obvious would be great. May be useful if it flickers and speeds up when the ghost mode is about to expire. Like this idea, may need some suggestions of how best to present it Kind regards, Matthew § Need help? ~ Report bad driving ~ Forum & In-Game Rules ~ Feedback ~ Guides ~ Appeal a ban! §
_.Queen Rosalie._ Posted November 19, 2017 Report Posted November 19, 2017 This is a neat idea, but there are so drawbacks, for those of us who play with names off, this wouldn’t make any difference. Personally, what would be better is if someone enters ghost mode, then something very visual occurs, either their vehicle goes transparent or has a persistent warning tag till they come out ofghost mode. A small marker or colour change on the players name tags doesn’t really add much from a distance that you would see another vehicle, I mean sure if you’ve got a 40 inch monitor or play in VR then it’s easier to see at distances, but for most, in order to even see or make out tags on someone’s nameplate, you have to be pretty close and by that time, your mind is already tricked into thinking that the vehicle is solid so you slam on the brakes. I mean, even a big bold letter warning sign that could say “GHOST MODE ACTIVE” that flickers between red, orange and black, that would be more noticeable at long distance, than a little symbol that can potentially get lost in the sea of colours ahead.
xlhunter3 Posted November 19, 2017 Report Posted November 19, 2017 Great Idea! When a truck spawned on the middle of the road, I swerved away from the truck not to be noticing that It was in ghost mode. This well help a lot. Hope it gets through
misterward Posted November 19, 2017 Report Posted November 19, 2017 Any addition to the visuals of a ghost mode player would be beneficial, I am in and out of the game often due to my internet connection and I do by best to get away from the road when I enter the game. It might also be beneficial for those who are leaving the game to pull off and be considerate of those around them pre and post departure.
CameronA Posted November 19, 2017 Report Posted November 19, 2017 (edited) Can i just say this would be a great idea, but people would probably just abuse having that freedom, btw love the ghost picture! Edited November 19, 2017 by Anriandor Removed unnecessary quotation.

Interstate Nomad Posted November 21, 2017 Report Posted November 21, 2017 If you can not overtake another player without endangering him, others or yourself, just do not overtake. This suggestion however bears the risk that players will try to pass (through) another spawning players truck before the countdown reaches zero, which eventually can end in an accident.
emrebenuzunolan Posted November 21, 2017 Report Posted November 21, 2017 Good idea, knowing how much time you have before ghost mode disappear is would be good.
Guest Posted November 22, 2017 Report Posted November 22, 2017 Is a good idea, because sometimes when player spawns you don't know when his ghost mode is over, so its better with visible countdown.
GGF MD Posted November 26, 2017 Report Posted November 26, 2017 Great idea! So with one look you can be sure, that the player is in ghost mode and you mustn't speculate! ---------- TruckersMP Support Team Leader Support - Appeal - TruckersMP Rules - Feedback - Report Former TruckersMP Support Manager
KingGodDiabloZ Posted December 10, 2017 Report Posted December 10, 2017 Completely agree with this! Now it happens that you crash into people because they get out of ghost mode/you can't see that they're in it.
Syntackz Posted December 20, 2017 Report Posted December 20, 2017 Its a good suggestion, adding this feature might help but Example when you login Enables ghost mode for 20 seconds after spawn and press tab you can see how many people are around you + check whether you are blocking road? if you are blocking road then either move your truck to side of road or press f7+enter. If you are still blocking road after 20 seconds Ghost mode then you have broke one of the rules and you will get punished for Blocking.§2.3 Blocking* : Restricting a user's travel path, blocking entrances to highways or other entry points or anything similar.
ShadowWolf2k7 Posted December 20, 2017 Report Posted December 20, 2017 ^ this is all good and stuff, but what happens when ghost mode runs out before you are even loaded in? I have had my game crash in one of the company drop off sites and logged back in to the game in that area, when I was fully loaded in I was not in ghost mode, only thing that saved me and anyone that would have possibly entered the site was that a friend of mine was convoying with me and let people know that I was logging back in. now you will say all job sites are NCZs, and you would be mostly right, however there are several job sites in New Mexico that are CZs. and I just happened to crash in one of those. so if they can program that the timer for ghost mode doesn't start counting down until you actually start your truck, since when you load in your truck is off that would make it a bit better.
Guest Posted December 25, 2017 Report Posted December 25, 2017 ^ There are review process by developers,so we need some time to learn whether it is accepted or rejected.
Carrera18 Posted December 25, 2017 Report Posted December 25, 2017 It's been two and a half months and there's still no answer. did not receive any information about it being examined. it does not seem like a hard thing to add. quite a long process has passed. I think it was forgotten.
Guest Posted December 25, 2017 Report Posted December 25, 2017 Forgetting is impossible, previous suggestions may be reviewing or something. We will see.
[GTW] Shadii Posted January 9, 2018 Report Posted January 9, 2018 Yes this good suggestions although everyone will be able to see how many seconds they have ghost mod.
The HitMan Posted January 9, 2018 Report Posted January 9, 2018 This would be a great to have, people still spawn on the road and cause too many accidents, at least with this it can be reduced. +Support.
Guest Posted April 22, 2018 Report Posted April 22, 2018 It's a good idea.this idea needs to be added the game.because it's really useful,So we can see that players it's in ghost mode and go without panic.(Panic=sudden brake etc) from me +1
Grundii Posted April 22, 2018 Report Posted April 22, 2018 Please implement this idea in the game! Because atm there are situations where anyone is spawning and the incoming trucks try to pass the truck & crash into incoming traffic Kind regards, ɢʀᴜɴᴅɪɪ Retired Manager
Carsmaniac Posted April 23, 2018 Report Posted April 23, 2018 This is a great idea, ghost mode trucks looking like any other makes it a little confusing
Guest Posted May 3, 2018 Report Posted May 3, 2018 Sensible A Thought TruckersMP Devopers He will take this into consideration My guess
