Further information regarding this can be found in the following extract taken from the In-Game Rules below: Spoiler §8 Deleting account We will not delete your account, we can however ban your account permanently if you wish to leave. Once you want to return, you can appeal this ban. This ban will be deleted and not count towards the ban extending procedure mentioned in §6 How bans are issued. That way, you can register an entirely new account without any bans and you would not even have to fear ban evading. Practically, you also do not need to spend money on a new steam account. A nice win-win situation you thought of. But that is not how it works! Since we are not a legal entity in the United Kingdom, where the DPA 1998 only applies, it does not matter that accounts are not deleted. So good luck.
