McDodge34 [FR QC]
Just found a hint about a new oversized cargo DLC and there's a proof in this link watch the video completely : http://blog.scssoft.com/2017/10/a-tv-show-visit.html this will get us oversized loads in ETS2 and I would guess ATS at the same time, theses loads will be oversized and will have escort vehicles and such, overweight cargo isn't a problem apart from slowing down trucks in some areas in MP, but what will happen with oversized ones that take the whole road, with perhaps no more space for other truckers to overtake in MP, and what about theses special escort services to block traffic and such, this will be hell on earth for admins to care for I'm sure, already people creating escort services and causing havoc without this DLC being in the game, what will happen when its released, will we see the first DLC that will never be supported in MP for fear of creating too much problems for admins, don't get me wrong, I love new content and will buy this DLC for sure, I'M a realistic driver and drive on EU#1, but what about the nfs fans, trolls and rammers on EU#2, that would be hell there for sure, at the same time, can't wait to watch video compilations of that on youtube, pretty entertaining should I say. AlmightyAlfo
Hmm in that case they should prohibit those trailers on busy roads, but as always nobody will listen, so you're right, there's gonna be hell.
Fumiko
Well they could just restrict the dlc to EU#1. Also the mod already removes the a.i vehicles so the escorts shouldn't be a problem. The biggest problem is well; the big cargo + narrow roads. I can't see that part going well.
Truckerpilot
ahh yes this should be an interesting one lol. Im sure their will be the grand old question. "Can we now block the roads with pilot cars" lol. caff!!!
I can see the trailers being allowed once models are made for the cargo overhangs, and banned on C-D road with an autokick Independent driver On 8/28/2018 at 2:16 PM, caff!!! said: to quote Revolver Ocelot: I love to reload shift gears during a battle delivery. Killua // Ireland ^_^
I can't really see that new dlc being mp supported (I could be completely wrong) guess we will just have to wait and see
McDodge34 [FR QC]
I've got doubts, it could be made possible for MP but we need it only on a serious server where people drive and respect the rules of the road like on EU#1, it could work most of the times, but surely not for the kids that love need for speed and drives like maniacs on EU#2 cause they think its fun to ram at full speed with a cheaty account that got 10000000000$ on it and to be in traffic jam caused by rammers, trolls and such. I can't tell when this will be released, but something tells me it will be some kind of a Christmas gift or something like that, nope don't expect it to be free, I don't think it will be, but it will be released around Christmas, the teasing of the trailer at Christmas last year was a key for this. Guest
I hope it'll get added to EU#2, that way the majority of idiots won't have to come to EU#1 to use it or to troll it.
NealCaffrey
He said that AI workers/cars will help with removing signs, holding wirings up etc, so there will be map changes on delivery route. Is it even possible on MP? Maybe it could be like with garages, one person can have small garages, another big one and it doesn't collide.
[VIVA] ExDe707
TruckersMP is client-side if I recall correctly. Sounds doable to me. Something that makes me worry is the models, currently if you don't have the heavy cargo DLC you will see an empty long trailer instead. But when the oversize load cargo is going to be introduced, how then will the other players know how big the cargo is? I really don't want scenarios where people overtake and hit an invisible object and cause a crash. My suggestion is to use placeholder models. TheCreepyTruckr
^ I'm not a developer so this might not be possible for the MP teamp, but I'd expect them to treat it like some of the oversized mods I've found. The actual trailer has a hitbox and physics but the load does not. While it would be a little annoying from an immersion perspective, this could stop other players from clipping/ramming large loads when they pass. Nahh bro. People said the same about the heavy ones and doubles and they work just fine. These, IF they come to MP, will be same case. I doubt there will be the escorts on MP since we have no AI, plus there would be way too much lag and conflicts from the escorts. We'll be just fine.. take a chill pill On 21/10/2017 at 3:31 AM, McDodge34 [FR QC] said: I've got doubts, it could be made possible for MP but we need it only on a serious server where people drive and respect the rules of the road like on EU#1, it could work most of the times, but surely not for the kids that love need for speed and drives like maniacs on EU#2 cause they think its fun to ram at full speed with a cheaty account that got 10000000000$ on it and to be in traffic jam caused by rammers, trolls and such. MP team made a dedicaded server where there would be no collisions for people to drive more realistically and no one used it. The serious server is EU1. There should be a dedicated server that authorizzes people with no ban history and lets say over 500hours of ets to join... guess it would be more organized. *MΛŠTΣR4ŁİFΣ* ;x
I think only the escort cars will not be implemented in mp, the rest will be. I'm a and I play ETS2 Multiplayer since May 17th 2014. See you on the road! ♣※^
sko0923
Guys, don't overthink it. There were similar topics and discussions when the heavy cargo DLC was coming out, and when the double's were coming out, and everything turned out just fine. I am sure that everything will be fine with this, with the appropriate rules set into place.
Bull [NL]
For the game it's a good DLC look nice, how it will be in MP we shall see.

SwiggitySwuty
I think this dlc will be supported on servers but without AI vehicles. Heavy cargo pack wasn't bad too, you can't drive fast with that = less collisions with other players I hope. We will see but I hope DLC will be supported. mdowner
Hmm, looks very interesting. Fingers crossed we'll see it in multiplayer. Hopefully it won't cause major issues, however I'm just imagining the Calais to Duisburg road with this DLC...
Trigzd
They can always choose to NOT implement the DLC, like at all. Obviously it would be a shame if that happens but I could see the rational behind it.
Mistery
It looks nice, but will not be a good idea on multiplayer, anyway with some rules it will probably be okay.
theresdev
I hope this makes its way to mp, and I for one would look forward to watching the chaos on eu2
Martin.
The DLC itself would cause trouble if implemented wrong. Would be really interesting to see how things will go. Positivetrucking168
The oversized cargo DLC looks nice from a visual aspect and it is also a realistic feature to see on the roads of ETS2, but for sure the game rules need to be updated to accommodate those oversized trucks otherwise the title will mean something It's not a good idea to take oversized loads on C-D due to the high-population, nor any other high population area for that matter, however SCS is only planning to implement a few routes that you are allowed to take those trailers across.
