NO JOBS IN THE LIST

pato1800

Question

Hello guys,

I have been facing some issues with my MP

I simply have zero jobs in the freight market and quick jobs.

I have tried the 'fix', going to the config and changing g_force_economy_reset to 1, and it works.. but only for 1 job. after this, I am back to empty list.

Has anyone discovered how to solve this problem? this is driving me crazy...

EDIT: I have tried F7+enter (no avail) and in the server that I play (europe 2) I don't know why, but I simply cannot sleep/rest to restore the jobs anymore (this used to work).

hello @pato1800 Try these solutions

Below you`ll find all the solutions in order to fix your economy and get new jobs:

a)You should try to rescue to service F7 + Enter (this sometimes resets your economy)

b)You should try to sleep (only a temporary fix, but is not guaranteed to fix economy)

c)You should teleport to another garage

d)Economy reset. This solution will reset and repopulate your jobs list / freight market and return you to your home garage.

Below there are two examples of how to do it:

1. Go to My Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\profiles My Documents\American Truck Simulator\profiles or  and find your profile - if you only have one profile it'll be the only one, otherwise you'll have to work out which one you want.
2. Open the config.cfg in the profile folder in your text editor of choice (e.g. notepad).
3. Look for the line uset g_force_economy_reset "0" - change the 0 to a 1 and save the file.
4. Now start ETS2MP and load your profile. You should receive a message saying "Game change detected", etc. Your economy will now have been reset.
5. Lastly, exit again and change that 1 back to a 0 in your config.cfg, otherwise it'll reset every time you start the game.

How to reset game economy using the in game console:

1. Go to My Documents\Eurotruck Simulator 2\profiles or My Documents\American Truck Simulator\profiles and find your profile
2. Open the config.cfg in the profile folder and open with Notepad/wordpad
3. Look for uset g_developer "0"
4. Look for uset g_console "0"
5. Change the "0" to a "1"
6. Save the file (NOT save as)
7. Load your game and profile
8. Press ` key
9. Type in "uset g_force_economy_reset "1"
10. Save your game and exit
11. Reload the game and your recent saved profile
12. Open the console by pressing the ` key and pressing the up arrow
13. Repeat step 9 but change the "1" to a "0"
14. Repeat Step 11, 12 & 13
15. You should now get the "Game change detected" message
16. Your economy should now be reset

Please notice that all these fixes are temporary.

i hope it works for you :)

I know one, i do it all the time
i dont know if i am the first that discovered this but check it out

1. log in ETS or ATS MP
2. select profile with problem
3. delete all saves and make one new
4. go out of the game and find C:\Users\        \Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2 or American....
5.cut and paste "save" from "profiles" to desktop
6.go again on ETS or ATS MP,  log in profile with problem (don't create new one profile) and you will see like starting a new account, choose your garage's city, etc , then wait loading and log off (dont finish job or buy)
7.go to "profiles" then delete the new "save", cut and paste your old "save" from desktop
8.log in ETS or ATS MP and sleep, if that doesnt work take a job and cancel

Remember dont use MP and SP in same profile

Hello guys once again,

thank you so much for all the response!

the problem is, I don't know why, but, I used to be able to sleep in MP server europe 2. And it worked fine, the list always reappeared.  Now I am simply unable to (says I am not in need of rest), and since I am new to the game, I don't know if this is servers doing, to have this feature removed. (and I don't play SP)

I tried some alternative methods though. I used the ets2sync website to sync jobs, and, acording to what I noticed, as far as I don't load any quick save state, the job list won't vanish.
I also realized that if I set the economy to 1 in the config notepad, the issue goes away. But the moment I load a quick save state, it vanishes again.
And if I drive directly to a pick up location, it won't appear either.

Furthermore, since I don't have a second garage, I couldn't check for this solution ATM.

So, making it short, I am going with the ets2sync method and avoiding quick save states load.

cheers you all!

Hi @pato1800,

I have also had the issue for a few months in MP where I was never in need of sleep.. It came back to where I was though, and I did tons of digging and research, and have never actually found out why it happened. Generally what you said you have being doing has to be done every time to reset jobs unfortunately, it gets buggy with this being a mod, and time always ticking on MP and stopping on SP. This is hopefully something the developers will fix in the future, but I don't see it coming anytime soon as it will take coordination with SCS to fix an issue like this.

Anyhow, has your issue been resolved? If it has, I will mark this as resolved and lock it if you are satisfied with the answers that have been given.

Regards,

sko0923.

This will happen when you sleep too many times in a certain time period. It'll reset after a while of driving. Toggling fatigue simulation might also fix it.

The guy with the things..... yeah.
