Rule §2.20

Hi there 

I've a question about rule 2.20: 

"§2.20 Doubles and triples:

You are not allowed to alter the configuration of the double/triple trailers, only the default job configurations are allowed."

What is meant with default? Aren't you allowed to change the way they look by pressing on the little gear button next to the trailer-picture in the selection menu? Aren't these also default, they are in the base game.

If I'm correct, could you please explain why? I'm just curious.

Default meaning however SCS made it available, you can play with in MP. 

 

You can't alter the trailers at all if it means going into singleplayer with mods and doing something, like changing how many trailers there are, the wheels of them, etc.

Let me put it this way, it's fine to take them from the job selector.

 

Using mods to change things (like cargo or trailers) or save editing (including changing paints) is not allowed.

@Syntog Would changing the skin of the trailers count towards this as well?

So, for example, If I use this mod (http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1113405579&searchtext=) in Singleplayer and i picked anyone of these doubles and driving it on multyplayer, even ONLY on Scandinavian, Admins can ban me?

Think of it this way: If SCS did not make it, you are not allowed to use it.

Since the latest answer on this topic, the rule has updated:

 

§2.20 Doubles and triples - UPDATED

You are not allowed to save edit the double or triple trailers, except for changing the paintjob only.

On ETS2, doubles are only allowed inside the Scandinavia DLC.

 

Which means you can only change the paintjob, as you can see.
