Version issues

So i couldnt run ETS2 MP. (fixed the problem. had to downgrade version)

 

so im downloading the 1.27 or whatever it is. it gets to the end of the download but it then pauses and just says "content file locked" and wont progress any further. is there a reason for this or am i doing something wrong?

Hey @GhostArcher91.

 

I believe that this is a bug within steam itself, causing the game to be unplayable.

 

In order to fix:

1 - Right click ETS2 in steam, click properties and browse your local files.

2 - Delete everything within the folder besides the 'bin' and 'licence' folders.

3 - Verify the integrity of your game files via steam.

hi  @Mirrland     ok i tried just as you said. it said verifyed thingy. even rebooted steam and re installed game. still excat same problem. "content file locked"
