Cannot Validate Game Version

I've seen multiple posts with this problem, although some links in those posts are broken, as they go nowhere (or to deleted posts)

Title says it all pretty much, i have the latest version of the mod installed and am running the latest version of the game, not the beta versions.

 

I tried reinstalling, changing game versions, rebooting my PC, but nothing seems to work.

 

If anyone has found a solution to this, please let me know.

 

EDIT: Yes i am using the correct version of the game on steam, and i am using the right installation path, since i copied it from the steam properties. (Also any other path than that one gives an error)

if you are willing to send rootkiller or mwl4 a message i'm sure they gonna help you

1. Start Steam before launch MP.
2. Run Mp as admin: right click on icon - properties - compatibility - run as admin

Update: In Steam: right click on the game - properties - betas - no betas.

                               right click on the game - properties - local - check the integrity of the cache
