ChicagoCyclist
I can get rammed from another truck or car and could get lucky with taking no damage or very little damage but when I accidentally take a corner too sharp and my trailer slightly hits a sign, it goes up to 18% damage lol. Why is that?
sko0923
Hi @ChicagoCyclist, It could be because of the way you were rammed vs the way you hit the sign... If you got slightly side swiped by the truck but fully smacked the sign, that may explain why. Either way, I think this is a better question to ask the devs of the game here: https://forum.scssoft.com/ Regards, sko0923.
coolbub123
the physics in this game are generally broken. I got 45% damage just for driving onto the sidewalk. and a tiny highway marker flipped my truck once:
Elysia ELF
The most Roadsigns are objects and some Signs are builded in the maps

London Truckers.FM
I've noticed this too, although I do wonder sometimes if the reason why they do so much damage is because two objects colliding and interacting with each other at speed, unlike most other objects in game. For example if you hit a speed sign, it usually gets thrown off into the distance somewhere! Community Manager at SCS Software & Truckers.FM Founder. slushbro
In ETS 1 it was more better with the collisions. Maybe they could watch after the collision system from there.
caff!!!
The physics based props can be a bit wonky at times, even moreso than truck collsions. coolbub123
I smacked the same ditch just before the small stick and nothing happened, it's only when I strike the stick and the ditch at the same time.
