A friend has bought ETS2 on disk, can he still play MP as when he puts in the game directory is says its wrong. I have gone through the forum and messaged him what I have found but still no joy. Thanks

If he want play ETS MP , he must have game on Steam.

If he have problem with key , contact shop or Steam Support !

To be able to play the multiplayer of Euro Truck Simulator 2 follow this path of play: C: \ Program Files (x86) \ Steam \ steamapps \ common \ Euro Truck Simulator 2

 

Also, remember that your friend must already play 2 hours in single player mode before being able to play online. After these 2 hours, your friend will have to activate his account on TruckersMP.

If he has bought it via disc he can still register it to steam via the license key here is a few tips on how they can do so... Please be aware using cracked copies or copies that are not fully legit this guides will not work and being honest for the price of the game why would you but as followed here are a few pages to get your friend started and linked the game to a steam account this way it   will work  hope this helps you

Hello,

 

It's basically the same as mine. All he needs to do is copy his CD Key and activate it via steam. Once he has done that then he it will download onto his steam with the latest update of ets2 and he then can locate it's directory on to TMP.
