cannot open the launcher - connection error

Hi harvtheman99,

 

Please follow the instructions from solution in the guide attached below: 

 

Quote

Press the Windows Key + R (Win+R) on your keyboard

Enter "%programdata%" and press Enter (without the quotes)

Find the folder "TruckersMP" and delete that folder.

Navigate to C:\Program Files\ and delete the folder named "TruckersMP Launcher"

Go to our website and re-download and install the Launcher with admin privileges https://truckersmp.com/download/

Open The Launcher with admin privileges and click "Install Available Updates"

Hi, 

First make sure that the ETS2 process and launcher are closed.  Then try running the launcher as admin and see if this fixes it.  
 
If not;
 
Please use win+R to bring up run and go to %programdata% (or C:\ProgramData\TruckersMP)
 
Please go to the truckersmp folder and delete the core_atsmp.dll file
 
Now please open the launcher as admin and it will redownload the file
This should work
