Is there a way to reduce traffic because I don't have the best Laptop and it takes a few frames and drops is to 10 - FPS.

Are you talking about MP or SP?

In MP, you cannot reduce the amount of trucks, as they are real people.

In SP, there are mods which reduce the traffic and there are some that completely get rid of the traffic.

There are ways to increase your frame rate, however. You can reduce graphics, or just simply avoid high traffic areas.

You can reduce shadows, as that causes lag. If you have a'lot of mods, remove some, as they reduce frame rate as well. If that does not work,  you may just need a better laptop.

Okay thanks. Yah I do need a better laptop. I have the HP stream 11

Please also try reducing the resolution. Playing 800x600 will give you a better FPS but will mean the game is stretched. 

 

Please also turn down the scaling settings in advanced graphics settings ingame

 

Please also close background applications as I find sometimes having Skype open reduces my FPS.

@Fancy_gamer, on the main menu, click on Options then Graphics.

 

Under Graphics, locate Resolution and click on the arrow pointing down to open the drop down menu. This menu contains a list of all available/compatible resolutions. Select the lowest resolution available then click on Apply.
