ETS2 Vehicle problems

I am on ETS2 on the united states server and we are trying to run a convoy with pilot cars however when we purchase a car we get kicked from the server even though it's not the police skin or lights. It states we are not allowed to drive cars. is that true?

It is. US#1 server is working the same as EU#1 server, with speed limiter and no cars allowed. What I don't know is if this is a bug or something the developers implemented on purpose.

Correct - you are NOT allowed to use cars on the US ETS2 server. If you buy a car or select your car to drive the game will automatically kick you. If you want to stay on the US server in ETS2 and need pilot(s) I would suggest you have 2 people bobtail and use trucks and be the convoy control maybe who's the convoy control give them unique paintjobs so people know they are and able to follow directions or arrows in the correct path to follow. Just remember not to block roadways or do anything that is inappropriate convoy management.
