Custom profile RGB buttons

Suggestion Name: Custom profile RGB buttons 

 

Suggestion Description: On a users profile settings there would be a setting that shows an RGB wheel, or a HTML code entree space. Where they would pick a colour suited to them and then the widgets/buttons on their profile page would change to everyone that views it. As shown in the images below.

Why should it be added?: I personally think it should be added because it will bring more of a sense of community to the forums, as the profiles will be more personalised and sometimes someone can tell a lot about a person just by their favourite colour.

 

(Sorry if this has been posted before, I looked for 15 minutes and found nothing about it.)

I DOUBT wether this is possible in IPB, and after all it looks cleaner this way - and not like a rainbow.

This isn't possible using IPB suite on the forum but would be 100% possible on the website 

 

(edit) cant do it by default the tmp devs would need to add integration into the forum software to take the information and display it on the forum for people to see)

It was very popular on polish role-play servers in GTA:SA and I think older generation of IPB had built-in support for it. Not sure if IPS has some equivalent. Still when implementing/enabling its good to make sure it is secure as it may open gates for hackers.

+1 It would be a great idea, I have seen this on other themes for IPS Suite before with a colour picker. It shouldn't be a security risk to IPB anyway. I love the idea of it though.

Not sure about it being public and changing on other people's profiles. I thought of it being like you see everything that color you picked on everything.

As much as I love the purple profile, this isn't supported in vanilla IPB and we are not planning on adding a plugin and theme to support it.
