D3DCompiler_47.dll missing (RESOLVED)

Harii

Question

Hello,

Today I tried to play like I normally do, but appeared a strange error. First, it asked me about a D3DCompiler_47.dll was missing. I installed that. Then the error went to api-ms-win-core-libraryloader-l1-2-0.dll, and I installed that too. Now, there's an error I can't pass. It says that Launcher.exe can't find the access point. Impossible to find the access point InitializeCriticalSection of the procedure in the dinamic library api-ms-win-core-synch-l1-2-0.dll.

I don't know what is going on. I tried to reinstall the launcher, rebooting but nothing happened. Then I installed the .dll files it required and it gives this error.

Also, I tried to reinstall all Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable. From 2013 to 2015 versions, both x64 and x86. Still nothing. I reinstalled the net framework (currently I have 4.7 version) and nothing.

My OS is Windows 7 64 bit. It didn't update anything during the night and I didn't touch a single thing. Yesterday I played and it was fine. Today, all these things happened.

Every other thing in my computer works totally fine. ETS2 works without any issues. It's just TruckersMP that is not willing to work.

Help.

I did it! I finally did it!

I went back to the original problem, the D3DCompiler_47.dll and found out that the .NET Framework 4.7 that I got installed was creating some problems. So I searched and I found a update package from Windows in the Microsoft Update Catalog while browsing this official Microsoft article.

I downloaded the mini-update and it's all working again.

Only god knows how many things I did these days. Like, I uninstalled and reinstalled so many things for nothing >_<

Well, at least I hope this might be helpful for someone who'll have the same issue. I'm modifying the title with the correct issue.

Thank you all for the support! :D

Hey There!

Please read this carefully:
1-) Cancel the operation
2-) Exit steam completely (Right clicking and exiting the application via the windows task panel)
3-) Then re-launch Steam as Administrator
4-) Run the TMP launcher in Administrator

If the above still did not work, do a full restart of your computer

Hopefully, I was able to answer your question

Try this for now:

> Steam Library

> Right click Euro Truck Simulator 2

> Properties

> Local files

> Verify integrity of game files

If you have Windows 7 64-bit, make sure you have SP1 installed, otherwise you may have issues when starting the client.

If you want to ask anywhere on forums whenever 32-bit version of MP will be supported in future, try to start GTA V on your 32-bit machine before checking game's system requirements.

If you don't have Service Pack 1 for Windows 7 installed, as it has been suggested, you can download it from Microsoft's website. On the link below you will find instructions on how to do it and a link to download the update.

Some people should really get a license before even thinking about buying Euro Truck Simulator 2 or American Truck Simulator. Drive safely, folks!

Hello,

thanks for the answers, I tried every method you posted but the problem is still here.

My computer is fully updated, I have the SP1 pack installed and updated. As I said, the last time I opened TruckersMP it was working. Also, I have no issues with any other applications. ETS2 works, every other game I open works. Only TruckersMP has problems.

Here's a screenshot with the error I get. Unfortunately it's in italian, but I got the translation.

If you need any information regarding my system, I would gladly post them.
