Try this for now:

> Steam Library

> Right click Euro Truck Simulator 2

> Properties

> Local files

> Verify integrity of game files

+ Have you checked this topic? http://forum.scssoft.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=167767

If you have any issues understanding the steps found on the attached link, then contact me and I will simplify it further / help you out.

Since you have updated your game to the latest version and it still is not working, this could be a solution for you:

> Press the Windows Key + R (Win+R) on your keyboard

> Enter "%programdata%" and press Enter (without the quotes)

> Find the folder "TruckersMP" and delete that folder.

> Navigate to C:\Program Files\ and delete the folder named "TruckersMP Launcher"

> Re-download the launcher and install

> Open The Launcher with admin privileges and click "Install Available Updates"

Solution was meant to solve a connection error issue, but it is worth trying seeing if it sorts out your error.

* Ensure you have opted out of all betas via ETS2 Steam properties.

Hello!

There was a Game Update for Euro Truck Simulator 2.

If you Updated the game, it would not work with the current Multiplayer version.

You should try and downgrade your game via. Steam with the link below. Or you can wait until the Developers make the Update supported via. an MP Patch.

Best of luck!
