est2mp start option

i tried to launch the mp today and for some weeks i moved the "Documents" ets 2 folder onto where i installed the game(and set the -homedir option in steam(seems not to cause some lag spikes that i have)).

i started the mp and it want's the Documents path... any options or ideas to not have to move the folder again(have some big mods in there and don't want to take space from my windows drive).

Hi,

 

If you moved the euro truck simulator 2 folder and the euro truck simulator 2 Multiplayer folder. I think that you need to reinstall the game. I'm not sure! So please wait for more reactions.

This should be in the help section, however, mods are to be installed in the Documents. Reinstalling the game would create a new empty folder in the Documents again.

Would create a new if there aren't any old one.

 

Having original ETS2 documents file is neccesary to play as game does run on profile /game setting/controls which are in documents , you can also delete folder mod but the rest must be there , no other solution !

so it seems that right now there is no way to launch mp(having in steam the -homedir option is ignored) without moving back the ets 2 folder with the profiles back to Documents folder. thanks.
