Ideas for upcoming DLC's and updates

Also, What are all of your ideas on upcoming DLC's and updates for both ATS and ETS2? There are many things I would love to see in game but I'm curious as to what are the things all of you want the most.

ATS:

I would love to see more trucks. More specifically I want to see Freightliners. I also would like to see dump trucks. I know they may not be able to haul trailers but I would prefer to drive a dump truck over a car any day. I really don't think they would be that hard to make being that you can use the body and frame of any of the day cabs and just toss a dump bed on the back instead of a cabin. Speaking about cabin, lets see some of those wonderful accessories that we have ETS2! I want to look back in my cabin and see a TV at least!

ETS2:

I would love to see the entirety of the countries that were released in the DLC's For instance we only drive through the top of Italy and a portion of Sweden and Norway. Also Lets see some of those beautiful sceneries in Ireland!

Both Games:

The types of trailers we haul. I am unbelievably excited to get started with heavy hauling loads! Knowing that they are implementing loads like this that typically require a endorsement to haul tells me that in the future we could have double and triple trailers! Also, how abut we get out of our trucks. I want be able to do a pre-trip before hauling a load. I want to get out to pump gas!

I would like to see features enabling us to get out of our trucks and fasten the straps on loads like Farming Simulator does. There is so much they could do with this game but they never do because all they think about is more DLC for more money. I wouldn't even dream of buying ATS, it's incomplete and nowhere near where it should be. If they are releasing a game it should have all or most states and not a few, I'd rather wait 2 years for the whole game and let them create another within another 2 years but they don't, they drag it out to benefit themselves, money spinner is what is.

I agree that ATS is definitely incomplete and that there is plenty they could have done before releasing the game, such as more trucks and states, but I do feel that if it was complete it would be the size of or at the very least close to the size of ETS2. When ETS2 came out yes it was big but it was nowhere near the size it is now and yet thousands played it. I think that the reason ATS was released before its prime was due to the demand for it. I for one really wanted to see said game and have enjoyed it to its current entirety. In the mean time while I wait for more states, I do have ETS2 to keep me further entertained yet I still find myself playing ATS almost daily.

I would like to run a full truck pre-trip before the actual trip. Put the electrical and air lines onto the truck. I mean there is a lot of possibilities, but reasonable request would be to add more states for ATS and for the love of god please get license privileges to add some Freightliners to the game :)

You telling it brother! Heck at this point I'll gladly toss in for the fund to get the licenses to use the trucks!

+1 on everything you said, but especially the ability to get out of your truck. It could be made optional so those in a rush don't have to do it, but I would absolutely love to exit my truck to pump gas, then pay at the pump or at the counter with a credit card or something. That would be cool, as well as actually connecting your trailer properly.

Something I've always wanted is a more realistic GPS system, perhaps a good start would be one that reads out instructions in various languages so that missed exit doesn't happen every once in a while. ;)

+1 for the +1 B)

I completely agree with the GPS update. I also think that the GPS should be set for shorted time in route instead of shortest distance. All those times it tells you to get off the highway just to get back on is just a nuisance. I also think that a way to implement the getting out of the truck for the game when it comes to it being a option is when you do a pre-trip inspection before hauling a load. I think that this could become a option for those willing to do it and if you were to do your pre-trip it prevent you from getting damage, other than crashing, while hauling long hauls. For example the wear on tires. If you skip the pre-trip, the game could increase the percentage of how much damage you accrue over the time of a load. OF course the entire option could be turned off in the options menu.

I hope they put Spain and Italy in one DLC,
Maybe the Balkan and Greece to someday.

And I hope they will update the traffic signs on some of the Motorway's where 2 lanes split up in 2 directions, but the signs say that 2 lanes go forth and one will go the other way. (For instance in Germany, Belgium, Austria, Poland)

I think we are ALL guilty of this at one point or another. But hey at least we miss it and continue driving and take the next exit. Not like - oops I missed my exit here let me stop in the middle of the highway reverse to make sure I take this exit because that is what my gps is telling me to do.

Completely agree about the signs! I started off my trucking simulation on ETS2 and I couldn't tell you how many times I ran into the guardrail or was forced off the highway due to confusion caused by misleading signs. Now I just stay in the left lane on 2-lane motorways and the middle lane in 3-lane motorways. Just skip the confusion all together.

I don't know about you but if my GPS told me to drive off a bridge I'd follow it, I mean it is one heck of a smart piece of technology, it must be right! So if I miss a road I know that the GPS knows this is the ONLY exit which means I MUST take it. :P

Note: Of course I'm kidding

Agreed! Can't stand people who reverse down the shoulder, or worse down the MIDDLE OF THE HIGHWAY to their exit. If it happens to me, I will take an alternative route or find a safe place to turn around, such as at some toll gates and rest areas the median is gone, and after double checking nobody is coming I can do it there.

I have another good idea, as a update that they redo the whole central Europe area.

Make the roads a bit more realistic, like the viaducts in Germany. The turn-offs are so steep. While in France, the turn-offs are really nice.
Also Amsterdam and Rotterdam, the motorway could be redone.  In single player when there is a lot of traffic, going on the motorway, it is almost impossible.

Shhh

Also we just need more Renaults in ETS2 both old and new. Even tho 97% of the community despise of them.

Well during in game daytime the traffic keeps coming. Luckily they are AI's and not players. So when you go for it, they do brake. And because they are only going 50KM/H they are able to stop before hitting you XD
At nighttime in game, there is not much traffic.
But completely jammed up, no. As long as you do not use a traffic mod.

Tire blow outs, random transmission failures (especially if you constantly miss shifts) and engine/turbo failures with constant over revving. The truck would pull to one side on tire failures.

Cool idea, but would not like to see that appear online.
Because then every troll who rams you off the road, has a excuse: My tire blew....

Random events on the truck, similar to @Rhime's post.

I would also like to be able to get out of my truck, walk around, strap my loads, check my tires. Just more realism really.
