It normally takes a long time for the game to sync with singleplayer / multiplayer. To solve the issue follow the recommendation below: I recommend for you to dismiss/remove the majority of your existing drivers along with their trucks. Alternatively, you can wait patiently until the game recovers from the freeze, however it can take an excess length of time and therefore it is not the most effective solution.
