Creating Custom Jobs - Virtual Speditor

Hello everyone!

 

I am commonly asked, "How do you create custom jobs", "How can me and a friend get to the same destination" etc. 

 

I'd like to present a program of which isn't very popular but is extremely useful. 

 

Introducing, Virtual Speditor. This program allows you to add custom cargo into your game with a custom start location and destination. 

 

How to use: 

 

 1 - Download Virtual Speditor (DL: https://www.adrive.com/public/hKtCmd/Virtual_Speditor2_03.rar)

 

 

2 - Go in-game and save your game.

 

 

3 - Exit the game, navigate to your 'profiles' folder.

 

 

 

4 - Find your profile (if you have more than one, it should be the most recently modified profile). 

Open the 'saves' folder and open your most recent save (it should be a number).

 

 

5 - Open the Virtual Speditor application then copy the location of your save file into Virtual Speditor.

 

 

 

6 - Specify the 'Source', 'Destination' and 'Cargo'

 

 

 

7 - Click 'Add Cargo' and then click 'Save'. 

 

 

8 - Now, head back in-game, load the save file and the created job should be available.

great guide MIRRLAND. i THINK that this will HELP new players and should be SHOWN to new players.

@Mirrland this is a phenomenal tool. I'm glad you took the time to share with us. I drive with a few of my friends and it always seems I'm the only who who doesn't have a load in common even tho I have my preferred job length all the way up and all my skill points in my tree and yet can never match. But with the thanks of you sharing/finding this tool I can now follow the convoy and match where ever their destination is. 

 

EDIT - If you do the same exact steps but instead load your profile for ATS it will work for ATS as well. @Blackmyst noticed it so the credit goes to him but just wanted to share/edit my post so people know they can make a freight job for ATS as well.

Can i use autosave for this ?

I have downloaded the tool, unpacked it in ETS2 folder and tried to execute it.
But I get the message when opening the program:
Cannot get access to the device, path or file. You do not have the proper access for this item.

Then I deblocked the .rar file, and unpacked it in the same folder
Same error
Run the program as admin, but still got the same error
Then chose a other folder, to extract the .rar file.
But still no access.

Also checked the permissions of the Virtual_speditor.exe , but I have clearance to read and write.
Anything else I can try?

Hi there! Please do as written below:

 

1)Please go to "My Computer/Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2" and find "config.cfg"

2)Open "config.cfg"

3)Press "Ctrl+F" and write "save" and search for it.

4)Find "uset g_save_format "x". X could be any number. Please change "x" to "2"

5)It must be as "uset g_save_format "2"

6)Save the file and exit. It must be done.

Is there a way to configure the time of the cargo (normal, quick and urgent delivery)? All loads created with speditor have normal time, and they have a lower bounty than urgent deliveries, for example.

Well, i created a job from Dortmund to Hannover (Scania Trucks) but then the job money was $100,000.

How is that suppose to happen? It should be at least $20,000 or higher a bit (Sorry i'm not english)

Very cool though money seems to be a bit to high and could be a problem for some VTC's like in ATS can now earn over 1 mill for a job lol..

@MetalDragon [LazyT] Put it this way - VTCs can now travel in fleets whereby all of their trailers are the same, using this has both downsides and upsides for VTCs.

First, I want to thank you for presenting this nice tool to us @Mirrland.

The problem now is: I've used it like 4 months ago, and then it worked fine. But now, I tried it out with friends, and we tried multiple combinations, e.g. in SP/MP, etc, but the custom jobs won't show up ingame.

The error log doesn't say anything suspicious.

 

Maybe someone can help us,

I'm having the issue of "File wasn't decoded properly".  I'm trying to do this with ATS. Is that the reason why it's not working? I tried to change the config file but the uset g save is not in there.

It won’t matter for TrucksBook VTC’s. TrucksBook uses total company driven miles, not money.

Is there a way to create jobs with double trailers only?

^ Some trailers have the cog icon in the left hand corner, whereby you're able to select the double trailer as an option.

i download this program, i click to load but its so much time and nothing (maybe its bad profile but anyone doesnt show me)
