until recently my name in game was the profile name from Steam, now my name in game is my steam account , I do not know how to change back, please help .

To change your name, please go to truckersmp.com

Click on 'Settings' - Under 'Account Settings', there is a field called 'Username' - You can change your name there.

unfortunately, you cannot use your steam name anymore in-game since this API is not used anymore. To prevent troll names such as CSGO things or names of political leaders, the developers decided to take the TruckersMP API from your TMP profile.

If you want to change your name in-game, you have to change your TruckersMP name. As I can see, you already did this successfully once, thus making it not necessarily to go into further detail of explaining how to do it.
