Question

Good afternoon. I have come with this problem for a year and now there is no solution, I already tried restarting the computer, reinstalling the game in steam, updating the game several times and I also reinstalled the multiplayer yesterday. Can anyone help me in this problem? I'm sending some photos down. Thanks

Uninstall ETS2 and delete any ETS2 files in steamapps\common\Euro Truck Simulator 2.  Try uninstalling steam and the MP. Copy your folder in documents for ETS2 profiles.

Reinstall everything and copy the ETS2 profile folder back into documents.

Greetings,

Looks like you might have a corrupt TMP installation, please follow these instructions below:

Try to run a sfc /scannow command in DOS then restart your computer and try again. https://www.lifewire.com/how-to-use-sfc-scannow-to-repair-windows-system-files-2626161

Now, delete the ETS2MP folder from documents and follow the guide below,

  1. Press the Windows Key + R (Win+R) on your keyboard
  2. Enter "%programdata%" and press Enter (without the quotes)
  3. Find the folder "TruckersMP" and delete that folder.
  4. Navigate to C:\Program Files\ and delete the folder named "TruckersMP Launcher"
  5. Go to our website and re-download and install the Launcher with admin privileges

https://truckersmp.com/download/

Next, download CCleaner and run a registry cleanup, restart pc and try again. https://www.piriform.com/docs/ccleaner/using-ccleaner/registry-cleaning

Also, verify the ETS 2 game files.

https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=2037-QEUH-3335

Please also after installing, if the update process does not begin automatically and you are still getting the version error, press F1 on your keyboard and press 'install available updates', if it fails to complete please post back here.

Good Luck and hopefully your issue can be resolved.
