You should not be breaking in-game rules in the first place if you are worried about someone reporting you. Also once you are banned, you are able to submit a ban appeal where you can complain. That's the place where you can counter-attack with your argument. .StεvƐ. Posted March 27, 2017 Share Posted March 27, 2017 -1 verbal warnings, whether automated or not, will not simply "make people suddenly behave", a punishment is a punishment. Plus, if someone is a part of, say a troll group, if they get a message saying player x has reported you for y reason, chances are they'll tell their friends to go mess with that player and cause them no end of trouble. No, reports should always stay annonomous and the only name given should be the admin serving the punishment. Plus, chances are you won't even connect to the servers if you've been banned and the ban will normally be shown, with evidence, on your TMP profile, so really, there is no point to announce who reported you when you got banned, that's like the police telling you who told them you were a suspect, chances are, things go bad for the victim. It'll lead to people hating on others and maybe spamming them, following them everywhere etc. Conclusion: It might be dangerous.
