(SOLVED) Help on TMP ID..

DJ Jefferz

Question

Hi,

I have a clip of somebody ramming and driving the wrong way and then F7'ing to avoid ban.

Now I know how to report people but my dilemma is I can't find this persons TMP ID, Due to the speed of the incident I didn't get the in-game ID.
Somebody told me you are able to go through the logs and find the TMP ID. Could somebody show me? Or help me identify this user?

Muchly appreciated.

Dj Jefferz.

Hey @jefferzuk,

this is no problem, you can simply locate to your logs folder where you can find the chat log providing the /pinfo and everything what has been said.

You will find it here:

C:\YourName\Documents\ETS2MP\logs\chat_26_02_2017 (e.g., date can change)

If you did not type /pinfo in order to get his TruckersMP ID, then you, first of all, won't be able to give valid evidence in the first place, but you could find his ID in the "log_spawning_26.02.2017" (e.g.) which is located in the same folder.

Hopefully, this answer was helpful. In addition, I will add the post to giving proper evidence in reports:

That's it, feedback is (as always) appreciated.

Kind regards ;)

Hi,

About a quarter into this video @Sgt_Tailor will show you how to look in the logs for truckersmp ID's.

So in your case, you'll want to search 1066 and see if you find ? infinity (1066) or you search infinity.

For the standard Windows Notepad you press Ctrl + F to bring up the find dialog where you will type the ID number or username.
