Crashing Every 5 Mins

Hello,

I had problem that I couldn't downlaod the data1.adb yesterday but it was solved by the new update. Also new update brought the problem that my game crashes every 5 mins no matter what I do. I tried reinsatlling multiplayer, changing profiles, lowering graphics, run as admin bla bla... And my game doesn't crash on single player. To run a game using DirectX please do the following:

 

1. Please launch a Single Player Game
2. Before launching a SP Game, a dialogue box will appear, with a few radio buttons.
3. One of these buttons are "Launch Game in 64x Direct X" - Choose this one
4. Let the game launch then close it
5. Launch Multiplayer.

Please let us know if the problem exists after trying this.

Problem has been fixed and this topic can be closed to avoid useless mesages. I got a older version of my graphics driver and it worked all fine (anyway I am on my main pc now no problems)

@ResTed Hello,

What do you mean by dx mode ? I start the game on single player with dx9 mode, did a job and saved but the mp won't start in dx9 mode so I changed it back to gl and I entered single player mode to change the graphics again when I cmae back to multiplayer it keeps crashing again.... By the way I am away so I copied my save file from my desktop PC to my laptop. Is this save file causing problem? And I copied and pasted my save file to this laptop in the past too and it didn't cause any problems so what is the problem now?

Press windows key+R on keyboard and open run or open it whatever way you fancy.. type dxdiag and click on save all information and attach the txt file here

@ResTed @MrHarv98 Yes there is a problem on single player too, If try to run in steam with dx (64bit) game it says ets2 has stopped working. And if I change it from config to dx9 I can't change any graphics settings in game. In multiplayer (when I try to run with dx9) I don't get anything special it says ets2 has stopped working. Oh and if I use gl everything seems fine but multiplayer crashes like 5-10 min after I open it.

I have the problem solved. Just load a savegame of 1 or 2 months ago and play further with that game

Go to Documents/EuroTruckSimulator2 and upload last_crash.log to pastebin.com @Tactical Oguzhan

If the single game not running in DX9 mode, you first need to solve this problem.

@ResTed The problem is bigger I tried all of the options in there the non 64 bits (32 bits) worked fine all of them but when I try to launch in 64 bit only the open gl worked fine (yes, even the safe didn't launch. I thought maybe it is about the steam so I typed in cmd

and it said again ets 2 stopped working. I looked for some research and find out that one of the developers from ssc said that there was a problem with the nvida drivers that could be true because when I runned this game at my desktop pc at home which has Amd R9 380 I had no problems with it. I will try to update windows today and re check if any of the drivers are not up-to-date I will write back the results. Thank you for the interest and help.

Update all your drivers to the latest version

Make sure that the antivirus software does not create interference

@ResTed Nope drivers and windows are upt-to-date still the same thing.

Edit: I tried reinstalling nvdia and Intel HD drivers but still no. By the way a lot of people has this problem and needs to fixed by the developers...

Yes, this appears to be a wide-spread issue that is limited to a few users, i haven't ran in to the '5 minute crash' disease but i'm sure that it will be fixed in due course, we do however need to start rooting this issue down by way of reviewing the hardware in particular of the people who are having this problem.

@3567- I have seen this problem on the gl renders and some of the nvidia cards or computers that have problem with dx9 64 bit such as my laptop. I was abble run the game on gl after 2 updates ago so devs should have changed some of the files about the gl render maybe. If you ask about fixing the dx9 I would say no because I researched and find out that (one of the scs devs wrote this) they were having some problems with the nvdia drivers and dx compilatibility so one way or other we can't launch the game on dx9 64 bit. Then mp devs should look into this.

I heard that the developers are working to fix the OpenGL bugs.
