Am I allowed to drive cars in TruckersMP?

I may be just looking in the wrong place, but am I allowed to drive cars at all? Ive seen like 2 cars (I am very new) but they look like administrative cars only. Just to confirm am I allowed to drive cars and what circumstance and are there areas where im not allowed to drive them so on and so forth.

first of all, welcome to the forum, TruckersMP and the community of fellow drivers!

 

You are not looking in the wrong place, even though you could have used the search function to find your answer straight away.

 

However, generally, everyone is allowed to drive the scout car in-game. The only things you have to pay attention to is that you cannot drive the car at Europe 1 server because this is a simulation server and cars aren't allowed there and you are not allowed to attach any police-related equipment to your vehicle.

 

The sirens, as well as the police paint job, are for in-game admins only and you will be kicked if you try to use them.

On the other hand, the Pilot paint job with the orange beacons can be used (but don't abuse those beacons in high population areas).

 

You also have drive carefully because the brakes are certainly not the best.

You are allowed to drive the Scout Car. 

 

You are NOT allowed to use the Police Accessories however.

Yes, cars are available for all users from any truck dealer. There is a few things you will need to remember however -

1. Do not try to use any Police accessories, as adding this on your car will result in a automatic kick from the game.
2. Cars are not available on EU1, so trying to use them on here won't work.
3. Do not try to act as a pilot, and block roads/ control traffic. This will most likely result in a kick and/or ban.
