TruckersMP Launcher .NET Framework Error

I have Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator updated to the latest version. Steam is running ok.

But whenever I try to open the new launcher (this didn't happen before!) I get this error message that won't let me play TruckersMP -> Fatal error.

 Which means:

Define registry key

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\.NETFramework\InstallRoot to point to install location of .NET Framework

 

I already tried a lot of methods to get .NET Framework to work:

- I installed windows updates

- Tried to uninstall and reinstall the latest NET Framework

- Verified which versions I have installed

etc

 

 

But it still won't launch. Apparentely I have .NET Framework 4.6.2 installed but it's most probably corrupted.

 

Any solution?

The install root path needs to be created at another subfolder. You can do this by just creating a new .reg file.

• Create an empty .txt file (for example on the desktop)
• Paste the following code:
• Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
• [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\.NETFramework]
• "InstallRoot"="C:\\Windows\\Microsoft.NET\\Framework\\"
• Rename the file to "fix.reg"
• Run the file and restart the pc.
  Done.

I messed my computer real bad now.

I get this message now:
