Realistic Gas Consumption for the Pilot Car

TOSHD

Recommended Posts

Suggestion Name: Realistic Fuel Consumption for Pilot Car
Suggestion Description: Change the consumption rate of the car to something more fitting for the type of vehicle.

Any example images: Yes

Why should it be added?: In a vehicle like the pilot car, you shouldn't have to be filling up more or just as often as the trucks you're convoying with.

A car like the Pilot Car could easily average 35-40 mpg with the gasoline/petrol engine and 40-50 mpg with the TDI. If the car had a realistically sized gas tank, you would run out of gas in about 100 miles.

the problem is the pilot car is treated like a really powerful truck in game and also weighs like 20T thus the crap brakes and top heavy handling so you get very poor MPG my advice is if you are shifting manually shift early and often to keep RPM's as low as possible without stalling and or lugging the engine

Have a look in your game settings @diggerfanty as there is an option in relation to realistic fuel consumption.

This can be found in this response from @Trucking Australia

In that exact same topic, @El1teZombiezHD also explained how the devs will not be making changes to the car.

As a result @HumaneWolf rejected the suggestion.

I suggest that you read the topic that i've linked above, as it has provided a solution that you can apply.

@Burner@Rekoil_ probably best to lock this one in this case :)

Since the last scout car re-work , we have upped the fuel tank in the cars so they can hold more fuel for longer. :)

I think it is fair to say that you suggested this before we implemented the changes so...
