snow in game

here is my next ideal i think thier should be snow and ice in the game since it is a simulator also the ice should be slick and make drivers slow down just like in real life also i think some of the hill's in game should require chains to get up the snowy hills what do u all thank

These things would be for SCS to implement and not TruckersMP. We cannot change the base game. That sounds more like Spintires game rather than Euro Truck or American Truck simulator.

This also seems like a feature which would require a massive game base update, as at the moment there is no way that the game base would support this (in reference to the chains).

But yes, as @1nYX has mentioned this is defiantly already present in Spintires. I've played the game myself and it is really cool for this, and even has Multiplayer support.

this is a simulator for big rigs and real driving it what a simulator is with all the rules in game so i was saying make the snow more realistic in game but i know now that u all cant change game so no big deal just seeing what everyone else thought

We would love to have everything that realism might give us but it's rather a question to what SCS Developers can actually implement into the base game with their current Engine. Some people has actually taken a different game engine and made Euro Truck Simulator 2 on that and then crashed a few trucks where they actually break / disform and parts go flying. SCS's Game Engine cannot do this and we are to play with what we have. The game is good as it is currently. In Singleplayer you can mod the game to fantasy even. You can get a lot of snow but it will most likely not effect your handling of the truck.

naaa. i dont think thats feasible because many people in mp are annyoed if there is a traffic jam. But slippery roads creates unnecessary traffic problems. For sure it would be a nice one especially for a simulator but finally i think thats too much for multiplayer. It might be possible for sp.

There actually is a snow mod that should and probably will be activated next month. It only changes the textures without affecting in-game physics, but it's still something!

Ehmmmmm Not really, because afaik the game engine doesn't support such "traffic problems"

The problems can be due to any cake.But if you are equal to real life in Germany such as snow and no,and indeed in Europe.And the winters aren't as cold.I ride in t-shirt and feel good:D

I wish they'd make an Ice Road Truckers game or at least add the maps, I like the idea of having to put chains on, I'd also love to be able to get out of the cab and do it yourself instead of automatic things.
