Unusually getting kicked for too high ping/ETS2MP$ ATSMP

Hi guys, need a hand with this one. up until a few minutes ago, my ETS2MP was averaging about 124ms and 8n atsmp i was averaging 38mn button after 3 or so launches my ping is skyrocketing to 1024ms in ets2mp and 783ms in atsmp which is very unusual for my pc.

 

• Do I need an DNS flush
• Do I need to restart my pc
• Do I need to reinstall MP (imcompatible 1_25 mod)

Hello,

 

This could just be your internet all together. But you can always try doing a speed test for your internet and if your internet is fine then try do A DNS flush.

So I have turned off my Wi-Fi router and waited for about 10 seconds then restarted it but ping is still now averaging about 570ms. Can I maybe get the tutorial for the DNS flush? That may be the issue.

Have you maybe tried restarting your router box and see if that could possibly fix your ping?

Unplug your modem, wait 30 seconds or so, replug the modem in.

 

If that doesn't work, contact your ISP

Thanks guys. yep I've unplugged my router  and flushed the  dns and it lowers it to about 400ms in ets2 and about 600ms in ats so. I'll contacting my ISP and see if that helps any.

Just got off the phone with my ISP and discovered that my modem was sending frequent time outs as high as 300 and when we attempted to do a speed test, the modem would not even pick up the connection from through the entrenet cable (don't think I spelt that correctly). When I connected my laptop through my cell phone with 4g lite, i'm getting lower then normal average on ets2 99-110 ms and ats 30-39ms. So I will have to use my phones data to connect through hot-spot until a tech comes to upgrade my modem.
