Pilot for who?

Can you make a way to show who you are pilot for? Me and my friends drive ofen together and have a pilot but is like people don't know that he is our pilot! They will drive in between us and that's a pain i the butt! So if you can make a way to make it more clear who is pilot for who it would be nice! I do know you can just change the name-tag but not many see that... Maybe you can make it so the name changes color or you can make a paint for the trucks thats says "I'm in a convoy" or "I have a pilot" or something that shows that you have a pilot!  I made a skin that you can use or just look at to get an idea of what i meen! (I know is bad... I made it in 2 min!)

To be honest like you have said you have name tags. You have to remember normal rules apply in a convoy so you cannot block other users from driving where they want, you can always try slowing down and close to eachother but hope there isn't lag. In my opinion we have all we need.

I'm sorry, but being in a convoy or having a pilot to escort your convoy doesn't give you (or the pilot) any special privileges. A certain number of trucks driving in a row with a Pilot car behind them, everyone can see that's a convoy, but... Some people are more respectful than others.

Having a special paintjob for convoys can even make things worse, some trolls love convoys...

Yes i know but when we are 5 trucks and ony pilot to lead the way is a problem when players "join" the convoy... And we do NOT use the pilot to block the road.

Yes but 1. We do NOT block the road and 2. When some of us lag we need to stay a bit behinde

I'd just change your tag if you want players to know if you have a pilot or not. You can always pull off to the side of the road and let him pass and continue on though as well. Regardless you WILL have players joining in on a convoy, maybe by accident or on purpose, you can't really avoid it.

I see what you meen but is not always you Can stop by the side of the road... It was just an idear i had...

^ Yes true I agree with that statement, just drive ahead and stop when you can.

The other thing you can do (not really sure if this is against the rules) is have your lead driver slow down a bit to maybe 5-20 under the speed limit. That might cause the drivers to overtake you guys since they might not want to drive under the speed limit.

Nah i think the pilot cars are already enough no need for anything more cause most of the companies use a company color
