Suggestion Name: Compensate Drivers When Rammed.

Suggestion Description:  I cant count the number of times my friends and I have been purposefully rammed by other players causing serious damage to our trucks and losing us the entire pay from a delivery we were doing. I have been told that drivers were at one point given compensation for this, but that it stopped due to friends ramming friends just to get cash. I think I may have a solution to this. Simply seize the cost of the damage and the cost of the loss of earnings from the player who rammed and award it to their victims.

Why should it be added?: I feel it will give players that ram for fun an incentive not to do it because they will be fined for their actions, not only that, the victims will feel they have been given justice, its not fair that they are spending so much time earning their in game money and are following the set rules to then have to pay out huge sums of money and are losing earnings for another player to ram them. They then to loose everything they have earned, and it spoils their gaming experience. Temporary bans for rammers isn't enough, they WILL keep coming back and they WILL keep ramming.

For me, it rejected, not always the fault that strikes the other player, the damage can be caused by lag.

Kind of a pointless suggestion as you can simply use a cheat engine and add more money to your profile.

-1 , no need for anything like that at all, kind of pointless when you can use cheats to earn lots of money or you can still earn loots of money without cheats (I've over 13 million  without any cheats - I've about 10 hired drivers that make regular amounts of money, I'd have lots more money now if I didn't buy so many trucks) As well as that this would be pretty unfair, not all ramming is deliberate, some is caused by lag, others are genuine accidents or are caused by someone pulling out infront of you or stopping suddenly causing you to hit them and the trucks behind to hit you, there are so many reasons and ways of getting damage due to ramming that are not intentional and it would be very unfair to be getting fined. Bans for intentional ramming is enough and for those that continue to do it after bans they will eventually get permanently banned. I don't think there should be any fines/compensation in MP. This is a game after all and bringing in things like that would just kind of ruin it. The current system is fine.

I have to give this idea a -1. 

 

It can be hard to distinguish intentional from unintentional ramming, and it would be unfair to fine people who did not do it intentionally. Also, with cheats and game edits, it will not do anything to prevent intentional ramming. And what happens when there no money to take from the rammer?

 

Besides those temporary bans that you feel aren't enough to stop them, do turn into permanent bans, which will stop them.

We might add some compensation mechanic when we add a serverside economy, but this won't happen for a while.
