Registering the game

Question

I know this might be the wrong place to post this, but it is driving me crazy now. I brought ATS and immediately started installing Multiplayer (I have over 130+ hours on ETS2). When it installed I was all hyped up and ready to go, it asked me for my account info, that was fine. But then it wanted to check if I owned the game. I clicked the 'Check now' button in the settings and loaded up ETS2 to play it while it was doing it. After a 1000 Mile Journey I came back and it was still not done. In the end I had my PC on for 8.5 hours last night hoping it would fix it. It didn't. Please tell me if I am doing anything wrong. Much appreciation.

First you need to have two full hours of play time for ATS.
