CB Radio command.

Hi i've seen that the stock command of voice chat is " V ", and i don't use the keyboard that much

i'd like to change it to another command such the down D-Pad from the xbox 360 controller.

Is it possible?

I use Pinnacle Game Profiler, it lets you map keyboard actions in any controllers (in my case, Logitech DFGT). Right now, I use 2 of the wheel's buttons, one for TAB and another for V. That one in Steam is cheaper, but it seems that it works only in XBX360 controllers. If that's enough for you, congratz. Currently there is no way of changing the command through any conventional means.

 

I did see someone mention a program they used to map keyboard macro's to their G27. Though i don't know the name or anything else about it.

It would work kind of like the FFB plugin.

There's an app on Steam which may do this. It basically allows you to bind keys to buttons and vice-versa. With this you could likely bind V to your DPAD.

Of course there's likely free ones you can find on the web, but this is an app I personally own and trust it can do this.
