Virtual Trucking Manager

Recommended Posts

I started using this with a friend today, very good website and software.

I do have a question though.. Is there no way for a CEO to see jobs from other drivers? Unless I am looking in the wrong place, when i go to manage journey's all I see are my own.

Where is that @littlefoot_22 ? Is there no way to see accepted jobs too other than my own? As it's just me and my friend right now we wanted to see each others jobs but as we have accepted our own it seems that's impossible.

Edit: Never mind, I can do it through the notifications screen for now. It would still be nice to know if there's a list somewhere I am too blind to find though.

@Simeta When you log in to the panel,  if your in your desktop/laptop click on administration then reports and there you will find yours drivers pending loads.  If your on mobile after signing in tap reports and syou should see them.

Ok so the website function is pretty neat good work on that man! However, how do I go about actually paying drivers? Does the money not show up IN GAME where its usable? or does it only show on the website?  My "personal bank" on the website says i have 2,149 but it did not show up on my profile in game.

What the drivers earn is just for the website to add more realism to running a company. To set it up as a CEO you go to the finances tab in administration.

Awwww =( I thought in someway it was also writing to your profile in game and paid extra ontop of the "game loads" that would be an awesome thing.. make driving for a "company" even more fun

Any way to give another person the ceo rank so they can have control of everything also or even make a rank and personalise it?

You can set someone as general manager and staff manager which gives them access to the administration panel.

Resetting jobs would be such a bad idea. Especially if you had just completed it and then it get's deleted. The correct way would be to show jobs per month and you can select which month you want to view. You would also then get a monthly and yearly overview of stats. This is a feature we are currently working on over at World of Trucks Database. Not all users of VTM will want their jobs to be deleted monthly as well :)

Only the CEO, Driver  and  General Manager, Driver  can have the permission to reset  the stats from  Company.

For example i have 50 members in company and they use this VirtualTruckingManager. But we give a DLC every month for the first 5 players in TOP.

So after a month we need a reset the KM, Money earned and Consumption .  So, only the CEO and General Manager cand decide when to reset.

I think it's a good idea and that give you more users.

Reset is indeed an bad idea.

Originaly with tour o matic i had the following thing worked out.

Store jobs a max of 3 months. (No one looks back at jobs at that point.)

Keep total stats of each month for users and companies.

This kept database clean and small allowing for hourly backups without burning up disk space like mad.

The 3 months jobs storage allowed me to still correct bad job stats up to 3 months back.

But yeah stats are a complicated thing.

Hello !
I downloaded VTMLive and I tried to do what you wrote on this page but I have an "Access denied" error message from Windows when I click on "Install plugin" button because ATS and ETS2 are installed in Program Files (x86) so they are protected with admin system.
I also can't launch the .application file as administrator (because Compatibility tab is not available in Properties) and when I launch the software with .exe file as administrator, it doesn't launch.
What can I do to use VTMLive ? :(

one of my member got same problem. send me pm how to install VTMlive on Win10

I don't remember how I solved the problem. Maybe it was by installing another software using telemetry files because I had to add these files manually in ETS2 folder and when I opened once again VTMLive the problem was resolved because it didn't have to install telemetry files.

You can also try to give telemetry files to your member (located in game_directory/bin/win_x64/plugins and game_directory/bin/win_x86/plugins) and tell him to put these files at the same place.
