Question

So recently i reinstalled my windows, i updated all my drivers to the latest and installed just ets2 MP. when i launch MP my game instantly freezes at the SCS logo u see. i tryed reinstalling ETS2 via steam, reinstalling ETS2mp. a complete system reboot.

It also freezes when i launch ETS singleplayer so it is not a issue with ets2mp

Hiya @dutchnoskillz,

Can you try and run as Administrator (right click, then run as Administrator)?

Regards.

Hello sorry to hear about your issue with the game freezing at startup one solution you could try is Using the follow command.

-mm_pool_size 4500 -nointro

What this command does is it removes the splash screen on load up and takes straight to the Menu for the game.

The mm pool size is a command that allocates ram towards the game your issue could be due to ram. You have to change the number at the ending according to your graphics card size here are some examples:

-mm_pool_size 800 (3GB RAM)

-mm_pool_size 1000 (4GB RAM)

-mm_pool_size 1500 (8GB RAM)

In order to set this for multiplayer right click on your multiplayer exe. and navigate to properties. Once in properties click on shortcut and look for target (this is the third option from the top the only thing you can type in) put your cursor to the end of it and then press space (after the quotations) then copy and paste the command given at the top and change the number to your liking

NOTE:
It is not recommended to use your full ram towards the game as this may cause issues with other apps on your computer and cause your system to crash if your Ram is 8GB please do not go above 5000 thank you and hope i solved your problem. This post and more information for this can be found at
