Requirements for cars

Hello everyone!  After publishing the new mp update, i saw this: a lot of players, were playing with these cars, but some of them, were driving with high speed, like 200km/h.. I thought that: Players who are with 200+ hours played in ETS2, can get the car. - The others without 200 or more hours can not play with the car. This is good, because the player with 200+ hours in-game are serious and good people, and the are respecting the rules.

There are people who have little time but are good people. You cant justify how good someone is from how long they have had the game. If they player can handle that speed then whats the issue. It helped me get from point to point. I enjoy the realism, pretending im drivng to the shop and back home when Im done. There shouldnt be limit from hours used, no way to tell how the person truely is.

I would say Xenon lighting would be an amazing upgrade for cars...e.g truckers can see the xenon lighting and understand a car is coming also adding a sunroof to the car like trucks that would be fascinating!!!

 

EDIT: Adding some rim's black rim's also adding spoiler to skout's!! Also adding some SUV'S later in the year.. e.g BMW X5

the thing is, you get good and bad no matter the number of hours someone has, hell someone could have 5000 hours and yet still drive like they had 2 hours in the game when driving the cars, besides, 200 hours is extremely harsh and is unfair to those who can easily drive a vehicle, even though they are new to the game, some get the genre better than others, so big -1 here.

yea, maybe this is the solution of the problem.

Well, sometimes me and my friends go above 130km/h but when we see a car/truck we slow down.

 

Its simple and we not need a short time to get a solution

I have >100 hours and I can drive properly... I'm also serious and respect the rules. 

I see what you're getting at but it wouldn't be applicable to ETS2 I don't think.

This would be for sure the best way to get rid of most of the current car drivers. But being that the cars are only allowed in the free roam servers, it doesn't make sense. Lots of trucks would drive faster than cars.

And I don't want to imagine the amount of complaints...

You can't limit the car based on hours, this is because truckersmp would have to have access or keep a log of every one until they get past said restriction.

 

The issue is steam only gives x number of api requests, a whole lot less than Google...

 

In order for this to work they'd have to ask steam to lift said limits for their key, which won't happen.

if there's a way to differ the limiter, i'd say introdusing them to eu1 would be good. (ie 100 for trucks, and 140? for cars)

That way we'll keep with the realism aswell as get more diversety on the servers.

People jut need to learn not to be trolls/bad at driving cars aha. Not gonna happen but hey, potentially solution :/

For now we should just give it time and think of some way to solve it, once I got a car it took a little for me to get used to. I did cause an accident but I didnt have bad intentions. Someone hit the median flipped over, hit my trailer, and tipped me over. It was an honest accident and the cars also have problems still, the cars acceleration is too high, brakes too low, and the handling just doesn't fit any of the speeds well. There will always be trolls and people new to the car.

This would be amazing to add onto Truckers MP although the use of cars has toned alot more then when they first came out and people are starting to use them the right way although you do get those trolls with 20 hours that hop on and just wreck everyone as they don't care about getting banned.

An hour based requirement for driving the car is unlikely at this point. Rejected.
