Unable to connect to Europe Servers in ETS2

jakgod3

Question

I have not been able to connect to any of the European servers in Ets2 since I downloaded the truckersmp mod. I have traced the IP address in command prompt, and my connection timed out once I get into France. I will post a screenshot of the results when I get home to my computer later today. I have called my ISP to complain, or ask why this is happening. It took me a while to find someone that actually knew what I was talking about, but a network engineer suggested to set up a static IP today to see if this helps by any means. What else would I able to do? DMZ, or opening up certain ports in my modem? Any information or help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

JB

NOTE, These are the results from an IP trace in command prompt..

Can you upload a screenshot of what error you get ?

Here you go.. I've been on the phone with my ISP for over an hour, but it looks like they have the same trace results as I do.

I also did a trace while connect to the LTE hotspot on my phone, which did establish a connection to the server. The results are as followed...

Any information? Is it possible that the servers ISP isn't letting my ISP communicate with the server?

Very unlikely, OVH afaik has not banned a IP range w/o reason (mass spam, attacks etc)

It's likely a router/modem issue, like a firewall (as mentioned) If you have a firewall enabled on either device disable it restart the device and try loading up MP. If both have a firewall enabled disable one at a time. Also check to see if Windows has its firewall enabled, thats been known to cause issues...

A buddy of mine had the same problem, clean driver, no ban. He said he reinstalled game and mp , tried ATSMP eu, ETS2MP eu... Nothing worked.

In the end this or something else did the trick : New profile (weird).
