[BT] bnussman [C&M-AD]
Suggestion Name: Use A Image Proxy called Camo Suggestion Description: This should be a feature to keep browsers happy by making insecure assets look secure. This can be found at this link Link = https://github.com/atmos/camo Any example images: Why should it be added?: OCD, makes site look more professional, maybe security benefits, hides IP of image servers
Taizun
^ Parts of the site are "insecure", so the green lock only appears on certain pages (at least in Chrome for me).

You guys don't understand!! This occurs when a user has pictures loaded over HTTP vs HTTPS...

The green lock will appear if all images on the page are loaded with HTTPS. Usually peoples signatures and attached images are loaded with just HTTP. This is why I have suggest a proxy, so the forums will be 100% over HTTPS
HumaneWolf
Whenever an image in a post is loaded using HTTP, the green lock will not show. The only real issue with this is that it makes it possible to hijack the loading of that image (a MITM attack), but such an attack is extremely unlikely to occur to a forum user, and would not have major consequenses. The issue with having an image proxy like that it can easily consume large amounts of bandwidth and data, as well as cause images to load slower due to server load for very little real benefit. 1 HumaneWolf - Website - Twitter - GitHub Ex-Developer

Definitely understandable! Thanks for the reply!
Guest
Too many moving parts for too little benefit. The perfectionist in me wants to too, but there is simply put no benefit to it outside of being pretty.
