is it possible to have or maybe get some insurance, i just lost 30000€ in reparation costs and the same amount in the job i was doing, because one reckless driver, it is so boring when people don't seem to care at all about the rules, i was 20 minutes away from completing a 1000+km delivery...

There is no way to get insurance. A way to avoid this is to save your game periodically (there are also auto saves) so when such scenario happens, you can just load a save and be back to where you were before the incident.

Why should it be added?:

I think this is a good idea anyhow's, but this is probably an SCS suggestion for the SCS forums.

^ Also, please don't quote the post above (especially if it's the original post). Use ^ or "I agree with the above".

You can also "cheat" your money, there are different ways to do it and it's allowed. I don't use that, I mapped one of my wheels buttons to "Quicksave" and as soon as I see someone who looks "dangerous", I pull out to the emergency lane and hit the button (or hit it right away if there's no emergency lane to pull out). That way, if nothing happens I just keep driving. If the dangerous becomes a troll or just a bad driver unable to control his truck and he hits mine, I'll load the saved game in SP, to be sure I won't spawn in the middle of the road, drive to a safe spot, quit and go back to MP.

Because the server has no "control" of your profile, it cant physically give you "compensation" because of a troll/reckless driver etc. This unfortunately is just one of the risks of playing a mulitplayer game when YOU have to pay for your expenses.... All you can do is prevent it from happening again by recording when you play, and reporting anything that happens to you in multiplayer such as being rammed.

Let's update my answer a bit...

I've recently seen a few threads and "Commonly suggested items", which include server side economy. This is where it basically stores your profile, the job list, your money, and any other information that may be useful for MP in a server side profile.

This'd probably come under server side economy, which will hopefully be introduced once SCS discontinues updates to whichever game you're suggesting for (ETS2 soon, ATS a very long way away), due to the sheer number of updates to said games by SCS all the time. Which explains the short delay between SCS updates and MP updates.

You may wish to read this thread: https://forum.ets2mp.com/index.php?/topic/10320-charge-players-who-cause-accidents-for-the-damage-they-inflict-on-others/;)

Acutally, i`m waiting for patch that will make same changes with insurance as this is in ats atm. I remember when i`m low lvl and after 1 crash i have to waste all of my money on repair ...

That's not a bad idea, I have one button left, an emergency quicksave could be useful.

In my opinion No because You would get bored of it and also as some people said you could cheat the money and then you could crash the servers or lag them to the limit because you would pay 5000$ A game day.Imagine 2000 people paying that how would it lag it would be incredible. Also why would we need insurance when we have bank.In addition where would all the money go ?
