can't connect to any ets2 server?!

i can't connect to any server suddenly, two days ago all worked fine. Yesterday no more. "Connecting to Europe (number)...restart game to try again". Got the latest version. no ban or similiar. Any help?

I had the connection broke message which sounds like yours. I found that on Windows 10,Windows Smartscreen messes with something in the game. I turned it off and I was able to connect.

okay thanks for the reply, so you on win10. Is that smartscreen function or whatever on win7 too?

Windows Smartscreen I believe is used in Internet Explorer, if you don't use IE, there is no need for it as it protects you from suspicious websites on Internet Explorer.

 

Which version of Internet Explorer do you have? Go to Internet Explorer, click the Settings button towards the top right hand of the window, then click 'About Internet Explorer'. This will tell you the version.

oh i do not use IE too but got it installed. I got the IE version 11.0.9600.18163

 

 i turned off this smartscreen filter already i think
